Terms of use | Renewbird

These terms are an agreement between you and Renewbird by Owais Builds (“we”). By using Renewbird you accept them. Questions: kowais915@gmail.com.

1. What Renewbird is

Renewbird is a reminder service. You enter documents and their expiry or renewal dates; we remind you before those dates by notification and email. Renewbird does not renew anything for you and is not affiliated with any government, issuing authority, insurer or registrar.

2. Reminders are a help, not a guarantee

We work hard to make reminders reliable, but notifications depend on your phone’s settings and email depends on your inbox. You remain responsible for knowing your documents’ dates and renewing them in time. Always check the date on the document itself. We aren’t liable for a fine, a missed trip or any other loss caused by a missed, late or wrong reminder, to the extent the law allows.

3. Your account

You must be 18 or older.
One account per person. Keep access to your email address; it is how you sign in.
You’re responsible for what happens in your account.

4. Your content

You own what you add. You give us permission to store, process and show it to you and your household only to run Renewbird. Don’t upload anything you don’t have the right to, or anything illegal.

5. Households

Anyone in your household can see, edit, renew, archive and delete the household’s documents and files. Only invite people you trust. The owner can remove members; anyone can leave. Documents stay with the household when someone leaves.

6. Renewbird Plus

Plus is sold through Google Play as an auto-renewing subscription (monthly or yearly) or as a one-time lifetime purchase, at the price shown in the app before you buy.
A free trial, when offered, converts to a paid subscription unless you cancel at least 24 hours before it ends.
Cancel any time in Google Play → Subscriptions. You keep Plus until the end of the period you paid for.
Refunds follow Google Play’s policies.
If Plus ends, nothing you saved is locked or deleted. You can keep using everything you already have; only adding beyond the free limits (5 documents, no new files, no new household members) stops.
Lifetime Plus is a one-time purchase with no renewals. It stays with the purchasing account for as long as Renewbird offers Plus.
One purchase gives Plus features to everyone in the purchaser’s household.

7. Acceptable use

Don’t misuse Renewbird: no attempts to access other people’s data, no reverse engineering to attack the service, no automated scraping, no guessing invite codes, and no using it to store illegal content.

8. Ending

You can delete your account at any time in the app. We may suspend accounts that break these terms. We may change or stop the service; if we shut Renewbird down we’ll give at least 30 days’ notice so you can export your data.

9. Liability

Renewbird is provided “as is”. To the extent the law allows, our total liability to you is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing here limits rights you have under consumer law that can’t be limited.

10. Changes and law

We may update these terms; we’ll tell you in the app or by email before material changes take effect. These terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction where the operator is established, without giving up any mandatory consumer protections you have where you live.
